Singapore Expo: Asia's Most Connected Exhibition Venue

Singapore Expo represents the gold standard for exhibition venues in Southeast Asia. Its combination of world-class facilities, seamless connectivity, and Singapore's business-friendly environment makes it the preferred choice for international trade shows targeting Asian markets.

What truly sets Singapore Expo apart is its location — directly adjacent to Changi Airport, consistently rated the world's best airport. International visitors can literally walk from their flight to the exhibition hall via the MRT. This connectivity attracts a more international audience than any other Southeast Asian venue, with visitors from 80+ countries attending major shows.

Singapore Expo Venue Specifications

Singapore Expo's technical specifications are among the best in Asia. The venue was designed specifically for international trade exhibitions and reflects Singapore's commitment to world-class infrastructure.

Singapore Exhibition Regulations: What You Need to Know

Singapore's regulatory environment is more structured than Thailand's — which is both an advantage (predictability) and a consideration (advance planning required). Understanding these regulations before you begin stand design prevents costly revisions and compliance delays.

Singapore Expo Build Logistics & Construction Practicalities

Singapore Expo's build regulations are among the most organised in Asia. Stand plans must be submitted to the Singapore Expo Technical Department 21 days before build for fire safety review — this includes floor plans, elevations, electrical layouts, material specifications, and method statements for work at height. The venue requires all timber materials to be fire-retardant treated with Class 0 or Class 1 fire rating certification — our Singapore team sources all materials through SCDF-approved suppliers.

Electrical power at Singapore Expo is distributed at 230V single-phase and 415V three-phase. Standard booth allocation is 15A single-phase per 9 sqm — higher than Bangkok's 13A. Upgrades to 32A or 63A three-phase must be ordered 6 weeks in advance through Singapore Expo's appointed electrical contractor. All electrical installations require LEW certification and independent testing before activation — our Singapore team includes LEW-certified electricians who handle full certification.

Loading dock access at Singapore Expo operates 24 hours during build periods with 30+ loading bays equipped with dock levellers. Advance booking is mandatory through the venue's online portal and slots fill quickly for major shows. Forklift rental is SGD 85 per hour with 4-hour minimum. Onsite material storage is available at SGD 180 per pallet per week. Post-show dismantling must begin within 4 hours of show closing — our Singapore team coordinates complete dismantling, waste sorting (mandatory under Singapore environmental law), and material transport.
